I had a good talk with a friend tonight, and it made me realize things even moreso than I had before. I mean, I had always thought these things and supposed them to be true, but I guess it became even more clear when I shared it with someone. Whould you like to know what they are? Well good, because I'm going to tell you anyway.
- Before you start to really date someone, everything they do and say is perfect. They're perfect. It's like nothing could ever go wrong. You KNOW you would be happiest person in the world to be with that person, BUT after the 'honeymoon phase', you start to see the other side. You constantly nit-pick that person that you previously thought had absolutely nothing wrong with them. Yeah, you may only do it in your head, but the thoughts are still there. But once you get past that, you realize that you really do have it good with that person. They're still the same person they were before, but now you just know them better.
- You NEVER really know a person until you've had a fight with them. Period.
- If you can learn to live with your family and have unconditional love, you can learn to love anyone. Just because your family has the same bloodline as you, doesn't mean they have some sort of special love power. If you even start to love a person once, you can love them forever. You just have to remember that no one is perfect.
That's all. I just thought I'd share that with you.
Goodnight!
